| R.I.P. my little cousin Matthew...
After battling Leukemia for over 3 1/2 years, my little warrior cousin Matthew passed away peacefully at 1:40pm at his home in Los Altos. Only 8 years old, some of his last words were, "Mommy...don't worry."
My thoughts and prayers are with you GiGi & Ely. I'm so sorry to hear about Matthew passing, but I pray we all find comfort and peace knowing that he is with the Lord.
Revelation 7:15-17
And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great
tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the
blood of the Lamb. Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and
serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne
will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never
again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any
scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their
shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will
wipe away every tear from their eyes."
We will miss you....until we meet again.

| Eye Surgery Update:
Soooo...after about 3 weeks after my ptosis repair surgery, the right eye muscle ripped and the stitch came out!!!!!! At first the doctor thought it was infected because the eye looked small again and puffy. After 2 weeks of no improvement, he concluded we needed to re-operate. So i had my second surgery on June 1st. After 2 weeks of recovery, i'm so paranoid about the stitch now. Hopefully this time, it's all good. After the 2nd surgery, the doctor discovered that my muscle was so frail and weak on my right eye that it ripped when i accidentally slept on it. Yikes! So now i have a neck pillow i'm sleeping with...hehe. Thank goodness, my health insurance is paying for this....
Condo Update:
We bought a Roomba!!!! Those automatic vacuum things are soooo cool! I love it!! Makes the hardwood floors so much less dusty and there's less hair lying around the condo now..hehe It's the ultimate gift for us lazy ones..hehehe
Personal Update:
We bought a puppy!!!!! I've been dying to have a puppy the moment I moved into the condo. I've never had one, and I know I'll love it so much! For the longest time, I wanted a Maltepoo (Maltese and Poodle) since my cousin Frank and Trish own a really cute one, and then Sunny and I wanted a Puggle just because it's so cute. But then Sunny and I went to the pet store at the mall and played with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We both fell in love with it instantly. It's sooo cute. Too bad they were charging $2,600. We finally found a great breeder, and bought one. It's still nursing right now with its mommy and getting certified, so we can't pick it up until the end of July. It was either the solid one or the flawed one with a white blaze. We love the flawed one..shows such character.
Here are pictures of the newest edition to our family born on 06/05/2007:

Our baby is the flawed white blazed one...so cute!! (1 week old)
2 weeks old. 6 more weeks left till we can take her home!!
GOOD TIMES Update:
27 of us went to Vegas just this last weekend for the June babies. 4 suites at the Venetian. 2 nights of clubbing. Great friends. Great times. Happy Birthday to Jon-a-thong! Nance-dawg! Dianabe!! My hunny Sunny!! and Hen-Chen!! Pictures to come thanks to Ryan! :) Good times...

| I CAN SEE!!!!!!!!! DON'T EVER TAKE YOUR SIGHT FOR GRANTED :)
So I finally had the surgery to repair my eyelids...It's such a crazy story, and I just wrote my friend Grace about it all, so I'm copying and pasting it here. So here is the story of why I had Ptosis Repair Surgery:
I had gone to my eye doctor for a regular check-up back in College, and he told me that my eye lids are really droopy, to the point that my upper vision is being blocked. I failed the test where you press a button when you see a dot (on the upper fields). He recommended that I look into surgery since the lids were covering my iris (the smaller circle inside your pupil). But since I was in college, I didn't want to get surgery for fear of looking weird or different...so just recently I went back for another check up and he said it got a lot worse, so I knew it was time for me to go through it all.
So after seeing my main doctor, she referred me to an Occuoplastics (an eye doctor who is also a plastic surgeon). There are only 66 of these guys in the nation, so it was a really specialized visit and required a lot of authorization from the insurance companies. When I finally saw the Occuplastics, Dr. Leibowitz, he said my upper eye muscles looked a little dead, so we needed to operate.
Sure enough, my upper eye muscles were dead, so he removed some of it, and lifted the lids enough so that I can see more. I requested that he only lift enough so I could see, and not pull it up so much that I'll look stoned. I didn't want to look drastically different or anything like that. He laughed because he said he had never received that type of request before since most people want it lifted as much as possible. I told him I only wanted to go through this surgery to see better and not for cosmetics. Because of the incision, he said he would have to give me a fold to cover the scars, so I guess in that sense I had to get double lids.
Now it's crazy because I can see the ceiling, and I find myself more awake when I'm reading etc. It's was a pretty good surgery because I had it done at the Jules Stein Center at UCLA Med Center. And the best part is that it was all covered by insurance. Crazy huh???? Anyways, so that's the story. heheh He said it'll take about a month to look natural again and for the swelling to go down..
I had my stitches taken out, and he told me that during the surgery they had to wake me up, sit me up, and look at the doctor to see if the eyes were even. Because my right eye was so bad, they had to do this 10 times!! The funny part is when I woke up, I was coherent, and telling them stories. At one point, he said I was speaking in Chinese....I don't remember any of it!!! hehe
The good thing is that I can see so much more now!!! It's amazing!! The good part is that I don't look too different either, which is what I wanted, so don't worry, you'll still recognize me, and I'm still the same person!! hehe :)

| So for my next update...My 24th B-day party. Crazy that i'm almost 25. It's so surreal...
Di, Teefy, and Nancie flew in from Kansas City and SF. I realized just how much I missed my girls the moment I picked them all up at the airport...sniff sniff.
So a bunch of people came out to Vanguard to celebrate with me. It was so much fun, and so wonderful to see everyone all at once having a great time.
Sunny was so sweet. He told me that he had a hookup that could let us in through the back for free and without waiting. ($10 for the boyz). When we got into the club, I realized it was because he bought a table...awww
Afterwards, we had some of those After Clubbing Hot Dogs...mmmm....soooooo good...with bacon wrapped around it topped with Mustard, Mayo, & Ketchup.
Here's some pix:
